About Me

Since 2024, I have been working on AI for education—building products like Disha AI Tutor for affordable test prep, byte-sized AI-powered skilling, Socratic AI tutoring for coding, AI communication coaching, and AI-powered learning at scale.

I was a Senior Product Manager in the Emerging Markets Group (EMG) at Microsoft India, where I led the launch of BlendNet—a product delivering content and digital services to last-mile underserved consumers in an assisted manner via neighborhood 'Kirana' stores.

I am also the Co-Founder and CTO of Three Wheels United, a data-driven lending company focused on providing credit to purchase electric vehicles to low-income users typically excluded from the formal banking sector—serving the dual purpose of financial inclusion and reducing carbon emissions.

Previously, I was a Research Engineer in the Technology for Emerging Markets (TEM) group at Microsoft Research India. My research involved designing complex socio-technical systems for users in emerging markets, including financial inclusion platforms and healthcare interoperability systems.

I also designed and built a novel blockchain consensus protocol for low-resource settings, and worked closely with the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) to design blockchain-based solutions to reduce spam—inputs that went into defining the latest UCC regulations for the country.

I graduated with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science from IIIT Delhi in 2014, where my primary research area was building technology for improving healthcare in emerging markets.
